Gregory A. Haun

Lead Solutions Architect, AGI

Gregory A. Haun

Gregory Haun serves as lead solutions architect at AGI, focused on pursuing the development and acquisition of innovative concepts and methods to support the advancement of AGI’s modeling, simulation and analysis (MS&A) software capabilities. In this role, he facilitates the vision, solution assessment, and architecture for integrated end-to-end modeling and simulation needs within the space and defense communities. Prior to this role, he led a portfolio of new market, business development pursuits promoting the adoption and emergence of AGI technology within adjacent and non-adjacent markets. These new market areas ranged from in-flight entertainment, wind-turbine/radar interaction, race-vehicle analysis and situational awareness, cyber/physical mission effects, physics-constrained executable architecture, to the broad injection of integrated modeling and simulation concepts within disparate markets. Greg’s first assignment at AGI leveraged his flight operations expertise to support NASA missions ranging from Earth-centered to deep-space, as well as assisting with launch-related range safety requirements.

Before AGI, Greg worked at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for three years as a lead spacecraft flight operations engineer for two EOS missions; managing daily operations and anomaly resolution, testing and integration of a new ground system, supporting data archival re-hosting, and leading the coordination of end-of-life activities. Prior to his work at NASA, he performed remote-sensing research at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), where he developed a remote sensing environment for data ingestion and fusion of real-time satellite data for use during rapid response activities in support of NATO exercises. Gregory holds Bachelor of Science degrees in aerospace engineering and electrical engineering from the Ohio State University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Astrophysics.
