Steve Hetfield is a Staff Engineer for Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems (NGIS), Chandler, Az with 25 years of experience in the Automotive and Defense industries and more than a decade of experience developing system architecture designs using UML and SysML. He leads the NGIS MBSE Solutions Team of practitioners providing model based solutions and training across multiple programs. His engineering background includes all phases of system design and manufacturing from initial design studio concepts, prototype vehicle development and testing, to manufacturing and production. Steve holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Oakland University.
