Stuart David

Director, Product, Marketing and Customer Support Optical Solutions Group, Synopsys

Stuart David is responsible for leading Synopsys’ Optical Solutions Group product, marketing and customer support teams, which are focused on innovative optical design and simulation tools for imaging, illumination, and photonics applications. Prior to joining Synopsys in 2010 as part of the Optical Research Associates (ORA) acquisition, Stuart served as director of sales at ORA, where he was responsible for global sales activities and contributed to marketing, technical support, and software distribution initiatives worldwide. He held optical engineering positions at MRS Technology and the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. With more than 25 years of experience in the optics industry, Stuart has an in-depth understanding of customer needs and market trends. He received a B.S. degree in Optics from the University of Rochester, and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.
