The OpenCAE Environments are open platforms with shared resources that seamlessly connects engineers developing missions and systems. The JPL Systems Environment is one such environment that supports systems engineering and analysis efforts at JPL. This presentation will explain how the Europa Lander Study adapted the JPL Systems Environment in order to design the Europa Lander Flight System, refine the system architecture, and publish documents for review. Additionally, the presentation will list some lessons learned that can apply to any engineering environment.
