Presentation Abstract

The UFOS Framework: Enabling Ontology-driven Simulation of Physics-infused Descriptive Architecture Models

  • Speaker: Gregory Haun - AGI
  • When: Day 3 : Tuesday May 21st
  • Digital engineering attempts to address the inherent complexity of future programs and the necessity for systems engineering to integrate and access capabilities spanning multiple domains in order to meet adversarial advancements. Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) provides standardized methods allowing for the formal description of concepts, requirements, and the evolving system with precise semantic clarity; facilitating well-typed integration, graphical vetting, and inherent simulation of an artifact-integrated digital-surrogate facilitating traceability across the acquisition lifecycle, as an executable “digital-thread”.
