Presentation Abstract

SysML2: A Practitioner's Perspective

  • Speaker: Chris Schreiber - Lockheed Martin
  • When: Day 2 : Monday May 20th
  • Institutionalizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) has been a journey for Lockheed Martin Space for the last 10+ years.  Over the course of that time, LM Space has learned lessons with respect to establishing the people, process, training and tools necessary to foster the step function change to enabling its Systems Engineering enterprise.  This talk will cover the approaches taken for these four areas, lessons learned from their implementation, and the future directions for MBSE to continue to enable our enterprise as we continue this journey, including the importance of SysML v2.0 and how this new version of the systems modeling language enables future adoption based on some of those lessons.
